Grass-Fed Beef, Good For You & The Environment

Posted July 31st, 2009 by Chris

Ever since I started selecting organic options for the food I buy, at least whenever it is available as an option, I have included meats in that choice as well.

After reading and researching organic food and its benefits for us humans it seemed to be a no-brainer that eating this way was the best decision to make to maintain good health long term.

Today, however, I read an article which mentions that in the case of grass-fed beef at least, this method of raising cows is also better for our environment. Here is a link to that article if you would also like to read it;
4 Reasons Why Grass-Fed Beef Is Better

I’ve also noticed that organic or natural foods taste much better than processed foods. This article also mentions how much tastier the grass-fed beef is.

It also touched me that this method of raising the cows is more humane than feeding them grain which is sometimes done so I’m happy about that also.

If you just can’t do without having meat in your diet, then grass-fed beef is one excellent choice you can make.

Tastes better, better for you and better for the environment. Yes it costs a bit more but consider all the benefits. Pay for proper food now, or pay the doctor later.

To your health,
Chris
